SUMMARY:CANCELLED | INTRODUCTION TO FIELD RECORDING AND INTERVIEWING TECHNIQUES
DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID-19\, the library has cancelled all events through April 30th.  We are hoping to reschedule this event for fall if things calm down. \nInstructors: Melissa Olson and Ryan Dawes \nDescription: Melissa and Ryan will walk through the interview process with students interviewing each other. We will explore how to use recording gear\, including recorder settings\, microphone setup and setting\, as well as creative interview techniques such as scheduling\, preparation\, planning questions\, and follow-up questioning. We’ll also briefly explore ethical issues that come up during interviews.
