An Afternoon with Jason Reynolds

More Than a Single Story is excited to be bringing Jason Reynolds, #1 bestselling children’s and Young Adult author and MacArthur Genius, to the Twin Cities for a stimulating conversation with our own Shannon Gibney and two 15-year-old readers, Boisey Corvah and Asher Parks. Minneapolis Poet Laureate, Junauda Petrus will open with a poem.

Reynolds has written over 20 books that depict the rich inner lives of children of color and offer profound moments of human connection. Beyond the page, he is a dynamic champion of storytelling who inspires reluctant readers and the adults who teach and care for them.

In order to ensure that the event is accessible to educators and their students, it will be in the afternoon.

The event is free and open to the public. All are invited but you will need to register. ASL interpreters available upon request.
