More Than A Single Story is proud to present our anthology We Are Meant to Rise: Voices for Justice form Minneapolis to the World.

Co-edited by David Mura and MTASS founder Carolyn Holbrook with writer contributors from the Twin Cities metro area, this book shares a powerful collection of reflections, thoughts and memories about the traumas we endured in 2020. Indigenous writers and writers of color bear witness to the COVID-19 pandemic, the blatant murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officers and the uprisings in Minneapolis that immersed our city into the worldwide demands for justice.
