Erik Anderson is a Senior Acquisitions Editor at the University of Minnesota Press, where he acquires general interest titles focusing on books about Minnesota and the Upper Great Lakes region as well as national trade titles, including memoir, history, creative nonfiction, children’s books, fiction, and cookbooks. Before his time at the Press, he worked in science education at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California. He also plays in the band ahem, whose album Avoider comes out in May on Minneapolis record label Forged Artifacts.
