For the last eleven years, Lissa Jones has served as Creator, Executive Producer, and Host of ‘Urban Agenda’ on KMOJ Radio 89.9 FM, Minnesota’s oldest black radio station. Urban Agenda seeks to examine issues at the intersection of Black culture, American history, and today’s realities for black people, while simultaneously amplifying the contributions and accomplishments of African American people in resisting from 1617 to the present.
Lissa is also privileged to host Seasons 2,3 and 4 of the podcast, ‘Black Market Reads’, produced by iDreamTv, for the Givens Foundation for African American Literature. Black Market Reads is a menu for Black literary consumption and all of its spin-offs! Featuring Black artists, performers, writers and historians who love to read and write!
