We Are Meant to Rise: Voices for Justice from Minneapolis To the World. In partnership with the University of Minnesota Press, we published this anthology of work by writers from More Than a Single Story’s first five years. Published in 2021, the volume includes essays and poems by 33 More Than a Single Story writers, along with special contributions from novelist Louise Erdrich, journalist Safy-Hallan Farah, and Resmaa Menakem, trauma specialist and author of the best seller “My Grandmother’s Hands.”
