Lori Young-Williams is a local poet/prose writer and creative writing teacher. She has taught several workshops at various locations in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota with her colleague Sherry Quan Lee.

She has a BS in Human Relationships and a Master of Liberal Studies both from the University of Minnesota. She has been published in various poetry anthologies and self- published two chapbooks. She was recently published in the anthology How Dare We! Write: a Multicultural Creative Writing Discourse. She is working on her memoir about her biracial family and growing up in the suburbs of St. Paul, MN.
