Mahogany Plautz became a hairstylist in 2000 but had been learning about her hair as a kid. With the help of her mama’s best friend and hairstylist, she learned how to best take care of her hair. Inspired by all that she could do to help people love their hair, she has traveled on behalf of Paul Mitchell educating stylists all over the world. Carving out a space for practical education mixed with social awareness is her main focus and looks forward to being a bridge between communities.
