Neri R. Diaz, MSW, LICSW received his BS in community psychology from St. Cloud State University in 2002 and received his Master Social Work from University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University in 2010. Neri completed Alcohol and Drug Counseling program in Metropolitan State University. Neri was born in Honduras, Central America and moved to the USA when he was 18 years old.
He is bilingual and bicultural and has worked with the Latino/a community and underserves population from almost 18 years. Additionally, Neri has been activist since he arrived to this country, bringing awareness about his culture, his people struggle and most recently he has been using the power of la palabra, (word) through poetry. Currently, Neri works for West Side Community Health services (Health Start program) as a mental health therapist.
